"We Turn Towards the Light" was an album that wrote itself. Rather than the album being about me, the character of Sunflower revealed herself to me in flashes and glimpses; an imagined scene here, a tumbling of lyrics there. It wasn’t long before I realized that is was she who was the protagonist, not me. She became the subject of a musical study into our human journey. “We Turn Towards The Light” is a living tapestry of the people in my life and these songs are a hymn to their ability to rise above and out of themselves to become more of what they are and more than what they thought possible...as we all do, and we all will. Feel Everything.
